This policy explains what information Pace handles, why we handle it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and be plain about the rest.

Pace is a planning tool designed to help you understand a weekly spending amount. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, calculator, and related services (together, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information we handle

We may receive limited technical information when you visit Pace, such as your browser type, device type, approximate location inferred from an IP address, pages viewed, and the time of your visit. This helps us keep the Service reliable and understand general usage.

The current Pace calculator is designed to do its maths in your browser. Your income, bills, savings, and other calculator entries are not required to create an account and are not intentionally sent to Pace simply to show your result.

If you choose to contact us, subscribe to an update, or otherwise provide information directly, we may handle the details you give us, including your name, email address, and message.

3. How we use it

We use information only where it helps us operate and improve Pace. That includes:

  • providing, maintaining, and protecting the Service;
  • responding to questions or requests you send us;
  • understanding aggregate site use and improving the experience; and
  • meeting legal obligations and preventing misuse.
Pace is built for a little more ease around money—not for selling or profiling your financial inputs.

4. Sharing & security

We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers that help us host, secure, or measure the Service; they may process limited information only on our behalf and under appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights or safety of Pace or others, or in connection with a business transfer. No online service can promise perfect security, but we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information we handle.

You can choose not to provide optional information, control cookies through your browser settings, and clear locally stored browser data through your browser. Where applicable law gives you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information, you may ask us to exercise those rights.

We will not discriminate against you for making a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
